Let me be the first to make an appearance on the blog and to wish you all good luck and a wonderful trip. Roger is my neighbour and friend (I'm the "OTHER" Roger) and I will be following the voyage with great interest. Jack "Speedbird" is a beautiful boat, you must be mighty proud of her and I'm sure she will live up to your expectations. Bon Voyage

May we join our good friend rogermac and offer best wishes from Canada. I would love to be aboard this voyage but time and other demands of daily life prohibits such a venture.

Hi Jack and Crew, I am fascinated with your Inverter problem as I sell and install Solar Systems. Do you have an Inverter which can use 240 or 120 in from the generator, if so what brand are you using.

Hi Jack, Roger and Scott,

The speedbird truly looks awesome. Enjoy every moment of your journey. Have a wonderful time. A famous quote for you to ponder on your journey;

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Best wishes

Hi Jack and Boys, good to hear that the dancing on the seas is starting to level out and now that you have evidenced Jack's twinkle toes coffee making exploits there should be some calm seas ahead for the run home.

Jack if you come across some extra Pirates on the high sea's it's just a bunch of High flying Bankers and Credit Managers ducking for cover as they have stuffed everything on shore, so they are trying their luck out at sea. Happy for you to show them the edge of a plank if you come across one of these fine gentlemen.

Take care! looking forward to catching up soon!

How are you going mate, hope all is well and despite all the ups and downs you are having a great time.

When you get to Vila, go to the open round restaurant near the yacht club and order the coconut crab, cooked anyway you like, Incredible !!!
